Our 2014-2015 MOPS year is upon us! Come join in the fun!
Our theme this year is ‘Be You Bravely’ and that is just what we are going to do this year!
To register, check out our registration tab above–we look forward to having you join us!
If you are interested in being a consignor with our Munchkin Market, please CLICK HERE to add your information.
We add all names to a wait list while our current consignors complete the registration process and then we see if we have openings for new consignors. Typically a new consignor is on the wait list for at least two sales.
Our consignors work a 4 hour shift during the sale and earn 70% of their sales. 30% of the sales benefit the MOPS group at Fellowship Bible Church.
Thank you for your interest in the FBC Munchkin Market!
Hey everyone! Thanks for checking in about the Munchkin Market at Fellowship Bible Church in Colorado Springs.
You can find information here on our site and you can follow us on our new Facebook page!
Check it out!
We had the privilege of having Kelly Parthen, owner of Bean Sprouts Cafe, join us for our meeting today.
She introduced their cookbook that has a lot of great ideas for making food fun.
Bean Appetit has a mix of snacks, meals and desserts that are fun and easy to make. It helps give you ideas on how to introduce foods in new ways.
Thanks for coming Kelly and get your copy today!
Our group speaker today was Kathy Loidolt, author of the book Shopper’s Guide to Healthy Living.
If you get a chance to check out this book- it’s a great read. She has highlighted a lot of areas in our home that are filled with toxins and how we can reduce those. Her presentation style was great and we were really glad to have her come to our group.
One of the things we worry about is having speakers that make things too “hard” for moms of young kids, her book is set up into 5 phases of changing your home. This puts things on your own pace, level and her shopping lists make it easy to know where to start.
Check out her website for more information and get her book!
Spring starts tomorrow (March 20th) meaning it’s time to break out the pastels and fake grass.
Here are some fun craft time ideas for you and your preschooler:
1) Sock Bunnies. These would be easy to help your kid make- and who doesn’t have a few extra socks laying around?
2) Tape and Paint Eggs
3) Butterfly Wand. This looks like something quick, easy and fun to play with.
4) Flower Crown. Perfect for little girls in your life.
5) Handprint wreath. You could really do this for any season, but this could be a cute spring decoration for a kids bedroom.
Do you have any favorite Spring crafts? Please share!
